Haralson County Courthouse

Buchanan, Georgia

This research study presented in a scholarly manner the County's courthouse history and a detailed analysis of the structure.

Findings included a preservation philosophy and recommendations for adaptive use as a multi-function center for the Haralson County Historical Society.

Funding was provided by matching grants from the Department of Natural Resources, State of Georgia, and the Heritage Conservation and Recreation Service (HCRS) of the United States Department of the Interior.
